I am a Consultant Speech and Language Therapist in voice and communication, voice coach, supervisor, musician and writer. I offer a range of services to facilitate individuals discovering their authentic voice and communication in therapy and performance contexts. I am also a pianoforte and music theory tutor to adults and children. I offer training and supervision to voice practitioners and speech and language therapists internationally.

I originally trained at an as actor, singer and pianist at Guildhall School of Music & Drama and Trinity College London, and worked in television, theatre, radio and film for 20 years. I hold an MSc in Speech and Language Sciences with distinction from UCL. I work both in the NHS and independent practice

  • Registered Speech and Language Therapists with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • President of the British Association of Gender Identity Specialists (BAGIS)
  • National Adviser for the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
  • Head of Speech and Language Therapy at London Gender Clinic (Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust)
  • Member of the Clinical Reference Group for NHS England in Gender Dysphoria
  • Founder Member of National Trans and Gender-Diverse Voice and Communication Therapy Clinical Excellence Network (CEN)
  • External Examiner for Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (MA/MFA in Vocal Studies)
